We're Ninjas!

Well, sort of.  We were supposed to do some painting today, but got rained out.  Instead we spent some of our afternoon making inside crafts, and this is what resulted:

Aren't they cute?  I got the idea from No Time For Flashcards and added some teeny tiny bodies.  Mister Fantastic thought the bodies were super funny.  Human Torch had some difficulty with cutting but overcame it with some help from Mama, and Thing slept the whole time.  Invisible Woman chilled on the floor beside us and was the model for Baby Ninja, traced from a soup bowl instead of a pasta bowl.  I think it was quite a successful craft.

Cheers,

Kelsey

  1. Aww, that really is darling!!! I remember making quasi-similar masks from construction paper with my little brother back in the days when Ninja Turtles were all the rage.

Thank you very much for your lovely comment on my post about Vancouver. We really did have a splendid time and I agree, the lobby of the Fairmont is breathtaking! If we base things off the lobby alone, it was the most posh hotel I've been to. You'll love Mintage! It was everything and more I was hoping to find in a vintage store in Vancouver, complete with very friendly staff, which is usually hugely important to me in the shops I patronage. We drove through Stanley Park a few times en route and coming back from other spots, but didn't get a chance to explore on foot this time around, hopefully next time. We (Tony and I) had to laugh and say "Murphy's Law" to each other when we saw the signs about the Aquarium expansion, as it was to be veiled just as we were leaving. What are the odds!
